Rapids Injury Report: Shane O'Neill Still Questionable

We'll leave the debate on how much youth we're expecting Oscar Pareja to put out on the field against Houston for another article on another day. (Or maybe today, who knows?) Either way, it looks bad for Shane O'Neill going into that game, as he has once again been listed as 'Questionable' for the Rapids on this week's latest injury report.

There's plenty of knocks on the probable list, with guys like Tony Cascio and Omar Cummings waffling in an out of being able to play. Conor Casey is also on there, but he's guaranteed not to play after being shut down by the team. That makes six veterans (if you count Anthony Wallace) who won't be on the field. With them out and Tyson Wahl suspended, you'd think it would force Oscar's hand at playing Chris Klute or Davy Armstrong.

But again, that's a discussion for another time.

Here's the injury report, from Coloradorapids.com:

OUT: DEF Anthony Wallace (L Achilles tear); MID Pablo Mastroeni (headaches); FWD Edu (R foot contusion); GK Matt Pickens (R adductor strain); MID Brian Mullan (L knee scope)

DOUBTFUL: NONE

QUESTIONABLE: MID Shane O'Neill (possible R orbital fracture)

PROBABLE: FWD Omar Cummings (R ankle soreness); FWD Tony Cascio (L ankle sprain); MID Jeff Larentowicz (L groin tightness); FWD Conor Casey (R knee soreness)
