Bad news on the youth movement front. The updated injury report released by the Colorado Rapids on Saturday morning lists young midfielder Shane O'Neill as 'Questionable' due to a possible orbital fracture. Shane was expected to get a good amount of time on the pitch for the Rapids in the final two games, most likely in place of Jeff Larentowicz, as the team played out the stretch. If he doesn't play, Joseph Nane will probably take Larentowicz's spot assuming the Ginger Ninja doesn't start.
Tony Cascio is the other young talent on the list, but he is listed as 'Probable' with a left ankle injury, so we can probably expect to see him out there tonight. Other guys like Davy Armstrong, Andre Akpan and Chris Klute avoided the injury report this week.
Anthony Wallace, Pablo Mastroeni, Edu, Matt Pickens and Brian Mullan are all listed as 'Out' on the Chivas injury report, while Conor Casey will also be held out despite only being listed as probable.
