The Colorado Rapids announced their schedule for the 2022 Major League Soccer regular season, on Wednesday.
Featuring 34 games, the Rapids will kick off MLS play on Feb. 26 at LAFC and finish up on Oct. 9. in Austin.
The Rapids will host 17 regular season matches, beginning with the home opener on March 5 against Atlanta United FC. The home slate features first-time trips by 2022 expansion side Charlotte FC on April 23, and 2020 expansion side Nashville SC on May 28.
Western Conference champions who bounced the Rapids from the playoffs, the Portland Timbers, visit Commerce City on April 30. Colorado will travel to 2021 MLS Cup champion New York City FC on June 19.
Rocky Moutain Cup’s second leg will be in Salt Lake City on July 9.
The Rapids are not at home or on the road for longer than two games in a row at any point during the 2022 MLS slate.

The Rapids will also be competing in the 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League next year, which will kick off in mid-February; the club’s opponent will be announced later Wednesday.
