Starting XI and How to Watch: Colorado Rapids vs. Houston Dynamo

MLS: Colorado Rapids at Houston Dynamo Thomas B. Shea-USA TODAY Sports

With three wins in a row, the Houston Dynamo come into tonight’s game on a hot streak, while the Colorado Rapids are looking for their first win since March. That being said, the weather might be an equalizer for the Burgundy Boys tonight, with a forecast of 41 degrees and a slight breeze at kickoff. For comparison, it will be 83 degrees (feels like 91) in Houston at the same time. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, teams are traveling the day of the game, so a 40+ degree difference could hit the Dynamo hard.

Colorado have an edge over Houston at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, with an 8-4-4 all-time record. It will be former Rapids Head Coach, current Houston Assistant Coach Pablo Mastroeni’s return to his old stomping grounds. His number was supposed to be retired when the two teams met over the summer, but that has been postponed, according to the Denver Post. (Read more about the Houston Dynamo in Downstream here.)
