After his first training session, the Argentinian said through a translator that he’s been waiting a long time for this day, so he’s excited and “ready to get after it and help the team this season.”
Head Coach Robin Fraser called Galvan an “energetic, young player who is clearly talented and understands how to move around the field. His positioning is good, he’s a dynamic player who I think is really going to add something to us.” Fraser said there’s a chance that we’ll see him over the tournament. “It’s very hot and we are going to be changing players quite often I believe, and there’s a chance.”
Galvan explained that he’s used to the humidity, but it was “tough with the thin air” when he first got to Denver. He said that he feels good now and is ready for the tournament. The winger wrapped up the short interview by saying “I came here to win and I’m very competitive. The goal is to win the tournament and play well every chance I get.”
