We’re all missing games (and everything else) in-person, so the Colorado Rapids have put together the Second Screen Experience, created to help bring fans together during the MLS is Back Tournament. Hosted by Connor Cape, voice of the Rapids on Altitude Sports Radio, Second Screen features appearances by former players, games and giveaways, behind-the-scenes content from Orlando, and post-game press conferences.
The Second Screen link goes live 30 minutes before each game at ColoradoRapids.com/live. If you’re active on Twitter, use the hashtag #Rapids96 and you might see your tweet featured on the feed.

“We had a ton of fun on Sunday night,” Cape said. “It was great to see some familiar faces in the Zoom room and find that sense of community with the fans again. After all the time away, it was the next best thing to being there in person. I’m looking forward to doing it all over again on Friday as we take on our I-70 rivals, Sporting Kansas City.”
For the game vs. SKC, expect appearances by former Rapids players Stephen Keel and Omar Cummings, Colorado Springs Switchbacks GM Brian Crookham, and tune in during halftime to hear from C38’s Dave Wegner about how they make the tifos that we see on display at games.
Fans can also come together and interact with each other in the Zoom room that Cape mentioned. Some supporters will be featured on the Second Screen for real-time game reactions or during traditions like scarves up at the beginning of the game. Fans from the Zoom room are also featured on the ESPN broadcasts throughout the game on the Jumbotrons that you see on the pitch.
