After getting approval from Major League Soccer, the Colorado Rapids got back to full-team training on Wednesday, June 10th. There are plenty of regulations and protocols to follow, but everyone was happy to be back.

Head Coach Robin Fraser said “now there’s a target, a target date, we know where and what we’re gonna be playing for, and more or less when we’re going to be playing, so it’s just great to put it all together and get back together. This is a group of guys who did not spend a great deal of time together, so they’re really excited to be together again.”

Rapids Captain Jack Price said it was a good feeling to be back together because individual workouts just weren’t the same. He felt that the biggest thing was “getting our team chemistry going again and hopefully we can build on what we started.” Price also added that “we’re as ready as we could be in terms of fitness” and is confident that the team will be ready for the tournament next month.
