Greg Seltzer at MLSSoccer.com took the time to go compile an article with all 16 MLS Playoff penalty-kick shootouts. Our Colorado Rapids featured four times—twice against FC Dallas, once against Columbus Crew, and once against the LA Galaxy—and won all four, including the year they won the MLS Cup.

The Colorado Rapids eliminated FC Dallas 5-4 on penalty kicks in their Major League Soccer Western Conference Semifinal playoff series after beating them 3-2 in overtime at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas, and tying the series 4-4 on aggregate.
