The Colorado Rapids—and fans—have to feel good about starting the season with a 2-1 win over D.C. United. Carrying the success of last season into this year was crucial and Robin Fraser made some smart decisions on Saturday, including making three attacking subs instead of sitting back and defending for the draw.
Fraser was rewarded for his (and the club’s) efforts last weekend and was named Coach of the Week in Major League Soccer’s first Team of the Week in 2020. Midfielder Jack Price made the bench, undoubtedly in part because of his pass to Kei Kamara that leveled the game 1-1.
