The results are in and Colorado Rapids fans have spoken: Getting 35% of the votes, the best moment of 2019 was when Anthony Hudson was fired on May 1st. Under Hudson, the club had earned just two points in their first nine games. After Hudson was fired and Conor Casey was named interim head coach, the club lost two more games and then beat the LA Galaxy 1-0 in Los Angeles. After that, the Rapids went on a 6-game unbeaten streak, including a win against the mighty LAFC. Firing Hudson was the turning point for the 2019 season and after seeing Robin Fraser in action, it might have been a turning point for the club as we move forward.
In second place was making a run for the play-offs at the very end.
