Earlier this month, we found out the Colorado Rapids’ first two games would be away at D.C. United and then home against Orlando City SC. Since then, we’ve all been anxiously awaiting the rest of the schedule to drop.

Get out your calendars because the full schedule can now be found here.

A few notes:

  • We knew that clubs won’t be playing every team in the opposite conference this year. In 2020, the Rapids will not face Atlanta United, FC Cincinnati, or the new Inter Miami CF.
  • Home vs. Away matches are fairly balanced, but they do have five home games in August/beginning of September (two in a row, then three in a row), which could be very important if they’re making a playoff push.
  • Our first match against Real Salt Lake is April 11 in Utah. They come here on August 22.
  • Gary Smith comes back to Colorado with Nashville SC on August 9.
  • The Rapids finish out the season at home against the Seattle Sounders on September 26 and then head to California for Decision Day against the San Jose Earthquakes on October 4.
  • There are only two midweek home games this year: April 15 and May 6.
