Brazilian forward Andre Shinyashiki from the University of Denver is the first round pick for the Colorado Rapids!
Entering the SuperDraft with the 15th overall pick in the first round, the Rapids traded with the Chicago in order to secure the 5th pick and obtain the man whom many have noted was on the radar for the Rapids. The Chicago Fire also received $100,000 in GAM.
