As the Colorado Rapids prepare for their nationally televised home match on Sunday afternoon (2:00 pm MT on ESPN) against Orlando City SC, the club announced three roster moves.

The Rapids recalled goalkeeper Andrew Dykstra to the club from the Charlotte Independence (USL). Dykstra, 32 and on-loan this season from the Rapids, has one clean sheet in five appearances. His recall was prompted due to Tim Howard’s red card in the 20th minute of the previous match against Real Salt Lake.

As a result, the Rapids loaned goalkeeper Kainoa Likewise from the Rapids Academy to the Independence.

Twenty-two year old midfielder Sam Hamilton joins striker Niki Jackson on loan to the Colorado Springs Switchbacks (USL). The Rapids reserve the right to recall Hamilton (and Jackson) at any point during the season, plus the close proximity of the two teams (only an hour apart) allow them to practice with the Rapids—always a plus!
