There are three storylines tonight. The first is ‘The TFC Juggernaut rolls on.’ All eyes will be on Major League Soccer’s CCL favorite as they attempt to add the CONCACAF Champions trophy to the three trophies they picked up in 2017. The second storyline is the ‘New Look Rapids’. Will the new players, the new coach, the new formation, and the new team all come together in a good way?
The third story is most definitely the weather. Forecasts for the game time temperature to range between 16F and 7F, which puts it contention for the coldest game in MLS history. Fan attendance will likely be a little light, but with a midweek game in frostbite conditions, that’s somewhat understandable.
It’s our first ballgame of the year kids. And it’s a big one.
