According to Romanian website FANATIK.RO, the Colorado Rapids have given Claudiu Keșerü an offer and he was not impressed. The website reported that offer included a $1.1 million salary, “a house, a car, and several airline tickets.” Keseru supposedly asked for time to think about it, but was told the club needs to sign a striker as soon as possible, so they need an answer by the end of January.
The 31-year-old’s current contract with Ludogoreţ Razgrad ends on June 30, 2018, which means we wouldn’t get the striker until the summer window. Transfermarkt puts the striker’s value at just less than $5 million.
