The Colorado Rapids were eliminated from the playoffs in their 2-0 loss to Dallas FC on Wednesday, but the Montreal Impact is sitting just below the playoff line. A win tonight would put them just one point below the 6th place team, the New York Red Bulls.
Both teams are in mostly full force, though Rapids forward Kevin Doyle retired this week, and the Impact’s Blerim Džemaili is suspended today. Today is Stefan Aigner’s first start at home.
