On Wednesday, August 2nd (tonight!) at 6:30 p.m. MT, the MLS All-Stars will face La Liga giants Real Madrid. The match will be broadcast on FS1, Univision, and TSN in Canada.

Though Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t make the trip with the Spanish side, there are plenty of other big names filling out the roster: Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Dani Carvajal, Gareth Bale, Isco, etc.

The All-Star side knows that even though it’s just a fun exhibition, it’s not going to be easy. LA Galaxy defender Jelle van Damme basically said what we are all thinking: “It’s an exhibition, but these kinds of games, you can’t turn off. You want to show yourself and get a result,” he said. “And we have to be focused 100 percent. This is one of the best teams in the world, so you don’t want to get embarrassed. We have to stay focused and be sharp.”

The lone Colorado Rapids representative in the 2017 MLS All-Star match is goalkeeper Tim Howard. Howard was selected through fan voting. Last night, Kortne Ford represented the Rapids well, putting in the equalizer goal at the very last second.
