On Saturday, August 19th, the Colorado Rapids and interim Head Coach Steve Cooke will take on DC United at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. The match will kickoff at 7:00 pm and will be broadcast on Altitude.

While DC United (5-15-4, 19 points) hasn’t won a match since June 21st, Colorado hasn’t beaten DC since 2011. Former Rapid Deshorn Brown got a concussion last weekend so we won’t be seeing him, but DC made plenty of moves during the summer transfer window, including adding USMNT player Paul Arriola to their squad.

Luis Gil should be available for the Rapids this weekend, but Stefan Aigner, who just arrived in Colorado and started training with the team this week, is not going to be ready.

The Rapids are currently 6-12-4 with 22 points and looking for their first win since July 1st.
