This match will be the fifth trip to DSGP for the team, and brings two local players home: forward Mallory Pugh from Golden and midfielder Lindsay Horan from Highlands Ranch.
The last time the US women played in Denver was on June 2, 2016 vs. Japan. The US went down 2-0 and came back to lead 3-2 (including a header from Horan). Unfortunately, Japan was able to equalize and game ended in a 3-3 tie, the highest-scoring draw in the team’s history.
