After coming out of the match vs. Toronto FC with a tie and a first road point, the Colorado Rapids are hoping to keep the momentum going today vs. San Jose.
The Rapids (20 points, 6-11-2) have only won one of the last 14 games in San Jose since 2004, and the Quakes are sitting just below the playoff line with 26 points and a 7-9-5 record. San Jose is still adjusting after the front office fired head coach Dominic Kinnear.
The last time the two sides met was May 13 in Colorado, when the Rapids handily beat the Quakes 3-0. Shkelzen Gashi had a brace and Dominique Badji put in one that day.
