Yes, it’s going to be tough for the Colorado Rapids to get a result from the best team in MLS. BUT Toronto FC are missing a couple of their key players (Jozy Altidore, Michael Bradley, Justin Morrow) to the USMNT, and even though he is starting, Sebastian Giovinco was injured on Wednesday, so I’m not expecting 100% from him. Clint Irwin also hasn’t been playing consistently this season, but he is getting the start against his former team.
The Rapids, on the other hand, seem to have a mostly healthy squad (with the exception of Shkelzen Gashi and Bobby Burling) so we’re seeing Axel Sjoberg back in the starting lineup. Mekeil Williams is suspended due to yellow card accumulation, so Mike Da Fonte is taking his place. Tim Howard is out on national team duty with the USMNT as well, which means Zac MacMath is in between the sticks, but that’s not really a concern for anyone.
