The Colorado Rapids have added another New Zealand national team member, announcing this morning that they have acquired defender Deklan Wynne from the Vancouver Whitecaps for $100,000 in TAM.

The left-footed wingback has been in the USL for the past three seasons and had two goals in 20 games in 2017 for the Whitecaps FC 2.

He has 15 caps with the New Zealand national team, including playing a full 90 minutes in both matches against Peru in the recent World Cup Qualifiers.

According to Ryan Madden, Wynne will be on loan for at least the first part of the season, but would occupy an international slot if/when he is added to the active roster.
