1/23 UPDATE: The Colorado Rapids announced that Gordon has been signed to a one-year contract, pending a clear medical exam. In the press release, Head Coach Pablo Mastroeni said, “Alan has a lot of the qualities that we look for in a center forward and we are certain he will help us increase our attacking output. He has been an exemplary pro with a wealth of experience playing in this league and we’re confident that he will bring the right mentality to our group.”

In other news, Marco Pappa has officially left the Rapids and MLS. Pappa is returning to his home country, Guatemala, and signed a six-month contract with CSD Municipal. In his one season with the Rapids, Pappa had two goals and four assists.
