Today is an important game for the Colorado Rapids. With a stalled offense and several key players missing due to injury or international call-ups, this is the perfect game for the Rapids to come in and grab three points. The Burgundy Boys are currently sitting in 5th place in the Supporters’ Shield standings, tied with Toronto FC and Real Salt Lake with 43 points. New York City FC jumped into 2nd with 44 points, and FC Dallas remains at the top with 48 points. The consolation is that the Rapids have two (or three) games in hand with every team that is above them.

The Revs had a terrible August, earning a 0-4-1 record, and are 6-12-9 overall. They are missing Forward Kei Kamara and Defender Je-Vaughn Watson to international duty, and Midfielder Xavier Kouassi.
