I don’t want to jinx anything so I won’t come out and say it, but I will say that the Colorado Rapids have won after each of their previous three losses this season, and New England Revolution had a terrible August. The Rapids need three points today, and this could be a good game to go get them.
While Marlon Hairston is still questionable, we have learned that his “lower body injury” is actually his adductor, so there’s at least a bit little more clarity there. Jermaine Jones is still out, but Sébastien Le Toux is nowhere on the injury list.
I talked with Jake over at The Bent Musket about JJ and what the Rapids need to do to get the Supporters’ Shield so check it out. Now that I know Le Toux is playing, I would change my prediction of Caleb Calvert in the Starting XI to Le Toux.
As far as New England goes, they are without Kei Kamara and Je-Vaughn Watson due to international call-ups, but Jake from The Bent Musket says we still need to watch out for Juan Agudelo, Chris Tierney, and of course, Lee Nguyen.
