Coming off their 1-0 road win north of the border against FC Montreal this past Saturday, the Charlotte Independence return south of the Mason-Dixon line to face their border rivals, the Charleston Battery, at MUSC Health Stadium in a midweek match on Wednesday at 5:30 MT. The Battery battled FC Cincinnati to a 1-1 draw this past Saturday.

Attendance. The Battery went to FC Cincinnati, who've drawn attention with their amazing attendance at home. They played in front of a reported 19,229! At the other end of the spectrum, the Independence did actually play FC Montreal, although there were few live witnesses, with 134 in reported attendance.
