What started out as an exciting evening with Tim Howard starting for Colorado Rapids ended up with the Rapids drawing the Portland Timbers 0-0.

Howard did come up with two big saves, and that is why the Rapids got him. But he was also helped by the post a couple times.

The main problem tonight was the anaemic offense. There was limited movement. It didn't help Portland was dropping eight or nine players. The one thing I noticed was the Portland players were quicker to the ball in the attacking half. That does not bode well for the offense of the Rapids.

Let us hope they can figure out the attack by next Saturday as they look to get the same form they had before the break for the Copa American and Euro 2016.
