The Colorado Rapids played their first of two-consecutive matches at home and it started off well, sweeping Sporting KC with a 1-0 win at Dicks Sporting Goods Park. It was a match that was quite defensive and not too many opportunities for either side.

The Rapids scored their goal in the 78' when Marlon Hairston was given a lot of room at the top of the box and he curled the ball into the upper right-hand corner of the net.

How do you thing the players did? Was Tim Howard good in goal? Did Jared Watts make any mistakes? How about Kevin Doyle playing with one-boot that was torn all the way down the side? What do you think of Marlon Hairston's goal?
