The Charlotte Independence take on Bethlehem Steel FC in an Eastern Conference Match-up that features two teams who are both struggling and will be looking for full points at Ramblewood. Charlotte is in a bit of a rut as of late as they are without a win since May 7 and will be looking to get back to their winning ways against the Steel.
The Goal for Charlotte: Win
What to Watch For
1) What in the World is Going On: After the win on May 7, Charlotte was 5-2-0 (15 points, 2.14 PPG) and the club was flying high. Since that point, the team is 0-1-3 (3 points, 0.75 PPG). Sure, you could look at it that the Independence has lost just once in their last four games, but they are not playing well. They were down 2-0 to a Toronto FC II team that, quite honestly, sucks. And that match was at home.
2) The Road Ahead: Despite the blip in form right now for Charlotte, they are still in the thick of things in the Eastern Conference and a win tonight could vault them as high as third in the Eastern Conference table. So, all is not lost in North Carolina.
