Community Ratings: Colorado Rapids vs Real Salt Lake, May 7, 2016

A lousy weather evening turned into a beautiful evening for the Colorado Rapids. Things are always nicer when you beat your rivals.

On a cool and windy night, the Colorado Rapids defeated Real Salt Lake 1–0 to remain undefeated at home. Jermaine Jones scored the winning goal in the 47’ after two great passes, one from Kevin Doyle in the box and a great first pass to Doyle from Luis Solignac.

This was a real good defensive effort by the Rapids. Except for Kyle Beckerman’s two shots, there was really no good scoring opportunity for RSL.

My man of the match was Zac MacMath. He had is best match as a Rapid, making a couple good diving saves and cleanly grabbing the free kick in the match. He did go on a walkabout in the second half, but nothing came of it.

The Rapids announced man of the match is Sam Cronin, who also had a good match. Use the comments to let us know your man of the match.
