Colorado Rapids vs Real Salt Lake: How to Watch, TV Information, Live Stream and More

Game two of three of the Rocky Mountain Cup is here

Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

I am not going to lie here.  I do not like Real Salt Lake.  Perhaps it is their attitude.  Or their smugness.  Or their ugly kits that they wear.  Maybe it's none of those things.  Maybe it's because they have had the Rapids number over the last 7 or so years.

Maybe.

But regardless of how I personally feel, the Colorado Rapids play that team from the other side of the mountains this Saturday night.  And it should be a good one.

The Goal for the Rapids:  Win

What to Watch For

1)  Top of the Table Clash--It's not often that you can say that a Rapids-RSL match is a top of the table kind of affair.  But that is exactly what this one is.  Both teams sit on 17 points and while there is still 24 games left, this one has a different feel to it.

2)  The Rocky Mountain Cup--lost in all of the Top of the Table talk is that the Rocky Mountain Cup is on the line for the Rapids.  If they lose this match, the Cup goes back to Salt Lake and that is a pretty uncomfortable thing to think about.  A result of any sort has to be on the minds of the Rapids

3)  History--The Rapids will need to turn around some history if they are going to grab a win in this one.  Since 2009 the Rapids have only four wins against RSL and a dismal 4-9-7 record.  The Rapids have history going against them.  Can they change this?

Predicted Starting XI:

This is the tough part of this one.  Overall, the Rapids are pretty healthy.  There only major missing piece is Pappa, but they have seemed to cope pretty well in his absence so far.  So here is my best guess (and truly this is only a guess)

Zac MacMath, Mekeil Williams, Axel Sjoberg, Bobby Burling, Marlon Hairston, Sam Cronin, Micheal Azira, Shkelzen Gashi, Jermaine Jones, Dominique Badji, Kevin Doyle
