The first place Colorado Rapids meet the first place Philadelphia Union on Saturday at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in a match-up of two of the most surprising teams in Major League Soccer.  Both teams will be looking to keep their respective runs going in what figures to be an exciting game.

Philadelphia Union 12 19 5 3 4 17 13 145 50

Super Early Initial Thoughts

This is the final game for the Rapids before the Copa America Centenario break (the next match is June 18 at home against Chicago Fire) so they will be looking to go into that break as the in form team.

The Union are sitting atop the East after a solid road draw at Orlando City on Wednesday night and will be looking to stretch their lead in the East with a massive road result against the number one team in MLS.

Based on the statistics, this should be a pretty even match.  The Rapids are a bit stronger with getting the ball on target but have scored less goals than the Union.  A big talking point with this match will be the players that are missing for the Rapids.  Kevin Doyle, Shkelzen Gashi and Jermaine Jones are all out of this one for the Rapids which will force the Rapids into their first major lineup change since the arrival of Jones.  Who will replace those players?

We will find out on Saturday at 7:00 PM
