Community Ratings: Colorado Rapids at Seattle Sounders, May 21, 2016

Three points and a crazy, defensive match by the Rapids. Once again the set piece reigns supreme.

The Colorado Rapids head to the Pacific Northwest and defeat the Seattle Sounders 1–0 on the road. The Rapids bring three points back to Colorado and move back on top of the Supporters Shield Race. They are also increasing the distance between the other teams in the West, except for FC Dallas, who are right on their tails.

It was a tough night if you wanted to see attacking soccer for the Rapids. They played pretty defensive and were able to pick up a set piece goal on a corner. It was the second of consecutive corners and Marc Burch put the ball right on the 6 yard box. Axel Sjoberg ran onto the ball and guided it to the back post.

The rest of the match was a defensive effort, dropping back and keeping Seattle off the board. And they did for the three points.
