The Colorado Rapids and Seattle Sounders are just about 60 minutes away from kick-off in Seattle, Washington as both clubs look to continue their momentum and grab a result.
The Rapids are riding high as they are tops in the Supporters Shield standings and are 5-0-2 (17 points, 2.43 PPG) in their last seven. In their last match they were able to grab a 1-1 draw on the road in Columbus which was the Rapids third match in eight days. Kevin Doyle picked up another goal off a Shkelzen Gashi corner and the Rapids grabbed a point which may prove crucial in the packed Western Conference.
The Sounders are coming off a 0-2 loss in Dallas which was proceeded by two consecutive wins. Seattle has struggled to score this year and certainly had their troubles in Frisco. They managed just three shots on frame and that was simply not enough to grab a result.
