Colorado Rapids at Seattle Sounders: How to Watch, Live Stream, TV Information and More

A trip to the Emerald City is on the docket for our Burgundy Boys

Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

Whenever the Colorado Rapids play the Seattle Sounders it always seems to go the Sounders way.  Sure, the Rapids would put up a good performance here and there, but overall the Rapids have played second fiddle to the Sounders.  But the Rapids have not had a team like this before and the Sounders are having their struggles....and the Rapids have won their last two against Seattle.

The Goal for the Rapids:  grab a road result

What to Watch For

1)  The Sleeping Giant: I have gotten the feeling watching the Sounders this year that they are just a step or a moment away from greatness.  They have certainly had their struggles, but they seem on the verge of getting it together and going on a streak.  And with the win last month in Commerce City, Seattle was not that bad and the Rapids picked up a goal that was clearly off-sides.  A win for Seattle in this one would not be a shock.

2)  The Reality of the Rapids: it is hard for many supporters to accept that this team may actually be for real, but this team just might be.  They have shown a resolve and an inner strength that was not there in past seasons.  And regardless of how this match turns out, this is not your Father's Rapids team.

3)  Two Games and a Break: The Rapids have two games left before they get a three week break from MLS play due to the 2016 Copa America Centenario.  I would feel great if the Rapids could get 3 or 4 points out of these last two and these are games that the Rapids should not be content with a draw.  Go for the win
