The Colorado Rapids and Sporting Kansas City took to the pitch under ominous skies in Commerce City on Wednesday night and this match was important for both clubs for very different reasons. The Rapids wanted to keep the streak going and Sporting wanted to end their bad run of form.
When the final whistle blew, the Rapids had their seventh win of the season. Well done Lads.
Some thoughts:
1) MLS Live--totally works on an airplane which is how I covered this one
2) Pablo Subs--I am worried about his ability to make subs when it really matters
3) We are good--No need to hide it anymore, we are good.
4) Not our best night--the mark of a good team is winning when you are not at your best. And the Rapids were not at their best tonight. But they still won
5) Dillon--please find a way to play Dillon Serna. Please, oh please find a way.
