The Colorado Rapids begin the new work week at the top of the MLS Supporters Shield standings for the second consecutive week, but they have a tough run in as they play Sporting Kansas City on Wednesday and Columbus Crew SC on Saturday.  But until then, here are a few stories we are following:

I have never been a big fan of Major League Soccer Power Rankings, but I do like these from Planet Futbol.

And not to be outdone, ESPNFC has released their power rankings.

There seems to be mutual interest from John Terry and Major League Soccer about bringing the English defender to the United States.  But it appears his contract demands are unrealistic.

Jermaine Jones made MLS team of the week this week :) and Zac MacMath made the bench this week.  Both players are very deserving.

Did you see Kei Kamara's outburst?  Yeah, Matthew Doyle from MLS soccer has some thoughts.
