Colorado Rapids MatchDay: The Burgundy Starting XI

The Colorado Rapids and Real Salt Lake play for the first time in 2016 and regardless of records this is always a fun match.  Historically the claret and cobalt have owned this series, but this is an opportunity for the Rapids to take a big step towards keeping the Rocky Mountain Cup.

As you are aware, the Rapids won back the Rocky Mountain Cup in 2015 with a 1-1-1 record and despite never yet recording a win at Rio Tinto, the Rapids are a team full of confidence and enjoying a three game unbeaten run.  RSL has yet to lose this season and has a very potent offense but will be facing the top ranked defense in MLS.  Will something change?  How does this shake out?  We will discover this in a little over an hour
