Game one of three of the Rocky Mountain Cup is this weekend and although it is always a fun match, it is not the only game taking place this weekend.
Here is your MLS Viewing Guide, Round Five:
Friday, 8 April 2016
Philadelphia Union vs Orlando City--5:00 PM MDT--Talen Energy Stadium--UniMas
This is a very interesting match. OCSC absolutely crushed the Timbers last Sunday and the Union should have beaten the Fire. All that being said, this feels like a win for the Union, but late.
Saturday, 9 April 2016
Montreal Impact vs Columbus Crew SC--2:00 PM MDT--Olympic Stadium--MLS Live
Columbus is a mess right now, but it's still early for them to get it turned around. But they need this game. But it will not happen. Montreal win
New England Revolution vs Toronto FC--2:00 PM MDT--Gillette Stadium--MLS Live
TFC heads to the plastic of New England with one thing on their mind: winning. And they will do that.
D.C. United vs Vancouver Whitecaps--3:30 PM MDT--RFK Stadium--MLS Live
DC kind of sucks and Vancouver is kind of good. This will be a win for the Caps.
New York Red Bulls vs Sporting Kansas City--5:00 PM MDT--Red Bull Arena--MLS Live
A game featuring two teams that are very hard to predict. I am going to call this a draw only because it is at home in New Jersey.
FC Dallas vs San Jose Earthquakes--7:00 PM MDT--Toyota Stadium--MLS Live
Each time I think that San Jose is going to get run out of the park by a team they end up winning. Same point here and why I am picking the Quakes: they just have that ability.
Real Salt Lake vs Colorado Rapids--7:30 PM MDT--Rio Tinto Stadium--Altitude Sports
Well....I think the Rapids can win. But they won't. The inability to score goals is a major problem for them and that has to be fixed if they are going to contend in the Western Conference.
Sunday, 10 April 2016
Houston Dynamo vs Seattle Sounders--2:00 PM MDT--BBVA Compass Stadium--ESPN
Is Seattle back? Is Houston overrated? Will it be humid in Houston? All of those questions have answers but for this one I think Houston grabs a win over Seattle.
New York City FC vs Chicago Fire--5:00 PM MDT--Yankee Stadium--Fox Sports 1
The Fire could be building something and they play very hard for the shirt. I like the team. But I think they struggle against NYCFC. But not enough to not get a point. Draw.
LA Galaxy vs Portland Timbers--7:30 PM MDT--StubHub Center--Fox Sports 1
I am picking the Galaxy. This is not an indictment on the Timbers at all, I just think that the Galaxy are going to want to get one over on the Timbers.
