Colorado Rapids MatchDay: The Burgundy Starting XI

We are just an hour from kick-off!

Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

The Colorado Rapids and Seattle Sounders meet for the first time in 2016 tonight under (thankfully) sunny skies at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.  The Rapids will be looking to continue the momentum that has been build up after a six point week and will be looking to pick up their first three game winning streak in the new season.

The Sounders started the year with three consecutive losses but have started to find their form and are undefeated in their last two matches after picking up a big win last Saturday against Philadelphia.  In that match, the Sounders got a goal from rookie Jordan Morris as he opened up his account in Major League Soccer.

This is one these "measuring stick kind of matches" for the Rapids.  Despite where the Sounders are in the table, they are one of the top teams in MLS and this one will take a solid effort to grab a result for the Burgundy Boys.

Here is the Rapids Starting XI:

Zac MacMath, Marc Burch, Eric Miller, Bobby Burling, Mekeil Williams, Sam Cronin, Micheal Azira, Shkelzen Gashi, Jermaine Jones, Dominique Badji, Luis Solignac
