Back to the grind Rapids fans

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Monday!

What a weekend for the Colorado Rapids!  There was serious concern that the Rapids-Red Bulls match was not going to go off at all on Saturday night and when it was all said and done, it was pretty amazing to be there and witness an epic match.  But there was much more than that this weekend:

Houston got absolutely crushed at home against the Galaxy and the Dynamo find themselves at the bottom of the Western Conference table.

Montreal hit a couple of unreal goals to defeat the Fire on the road.

Toronto scored in the first minute and then held on to defeat DCU at RFK.

Columbus Crew SC finally won a game but they had to hold on to do it.

Real Salt Lake has yet to lose a match this season and this weekend defeated the Caps at Rio Tinto.

Seattle won.  And why do we care?  Because our Burgundy Boys play the Sounders on Saturday.

Portland picked up a big home win over the Earthquakes.

Orlando City and New England Revolution played to a 2-2 tie that was marred by some atrocious refereeing.

And FC Dallas defeated Sporting Kansas City with an amazing free kick.
