Burgundy Links: 15 April 2016

Well, Friday is here and with that comes a massive change in the weather for us living in the Centennial State.  Will the Colorado Rapids and New York Red Bulls take the pitch on Saturday night?  And if they do, what kind of conditions can they expect?  I would suspect it will be wicked soggy with a snow/rain combo and freaking cold.

Don Garber voiced his opinion about the Nigel De Jong thug tackle.  I don't agree with Garber often, but he is right in this case.

This is not quite confirmation, but it doesn't sound like it will be long until Sacramento Republic FC is an MLS franchise.

Sigi broke his leg and says that USL is better at preparing players than the NCAA.

Jermaine Jones makes his debut this weekend for the Rapids.  How important will he be to the team?
