Week Seven in Major League Soccer features a whopping 13 games including 3 tonight. It is a MLS lovers dream and a great way to spend a (potentially) snowy weekend in Colorado
Here is your MLS Viewing Guide for Week 7
Wednesday, 13 April 2016
Sporting Kansas City vs Colorado Rapids--6:30 PM MDT--Children's Mercy Park--Altitude 2
I think that the Rapids truly have a shot in this one, but it comes down to scoring goals. And right now I do not have the faith that they can do that. Win for Sporting
Portland Timbers vs FC Dallas--8:30 PM MDT--Providence Park--MLS Live
This is a great matchup. Portland is better than the record reflects and I think that FCD is one of the class teams in MLS. This feels like an exciting draw.
San Jose Earthquakes vs New York Red Bulls--8:30 PM MDT--Avaya Stadium--MLS Live
The Red Bulls are all sorts of a mess right now and San Jose will be feeling good that they got a draw on the road in Frisco. But for some reason I think New York gets a draw in this match.
Friday, 15 April 2016
Houston Dynamo vs LA Galaxy--5:00 PM MDT--BBVA Compass Stadium--UniMas
Gonna make this easy: win for Houston
Saturday, 16 April 2016
Chicago Fire vs Montreal Impact--3:00 PM MDT--Toyota Park--MLS Live
Didier Drogba is scheduled to play in this match and that should be enough for Montreal to grab a road win.
D.C. United vs Toronto FC--3:00 PM MDT--RFK Stadium--MLS Live
Toronto FC continues the epic road trip to a pit of a facility: RFK. Draw.
Columbus Crew SC vs New York City FC--5:30 PM MDT--MAPFRE Stadium--MLS Live
Columbus finally picks up their first win of the season against NYCFC but it is going to be ugly for Crew SC
Colorado Rapids vs New York Red Bulls--7:00 PM MDT--Dick's Sporting Goods Park--Altitude Sports
This should be the debut of Jermaine Jones and he rewards the Rapids faithful with a win. But the weather could be a major factor.....
Real Salt Lake vs Vancouver Whitecaps--8:00 PM MDT--Rio Tinto Stadium--MLS Live
The Caps got worked last weekend and RSL squeaked out a win at home. I think that there is something wrong with Vancouver right now and RSL gets the comfortable win.
Seattle Sounders vs Philadelphia Union--8:00 PM MDT--Century Link Field--MLS Live
Seattle may be getting back on track and will continue that with a win over Philadelphia at home.
Portland Timbers vs San Jose Earthquakes--8:30 PM MDT--Providence Park--MLS Live
Portland gets their second home game on the spin and plays a tough and resolute San Jose team. Another draw.
Sunday, 17 April 2016
Orlando City vs New England Revolution--1:30 PM MDT--Orlando Citrus Bowl--ESPN
OCSC dropped a tough one on the road last weekend but they will have no trouble beating the Revs on the plastic at home.
FC Dallas vs Sporting Kansas City--5:00 PM MDT--Toyota Stadium--Fox Sports 1
The game of the weekend is the last one and this really could be the Western Conference final preview. I like Sporting in this one to upset Dallas at home.
