Burgundy Links: 11 April 2016

Happy Monday Colorado Rapids fans!  It was a busy weekend of soccer with the Rapids dropping a disappointing 1-0 result to Real Salt Lake and the Charlotte Independence losing 2-1 on the road.  But there are a few other stories we are following today:

The Union picked up a huge win over Orlando City on Friday night

The Crew are still winless.  Craziness.

The Revs and Toronto FC tied on Saturday as the Reds continue their season opening eight game road trip.

D.C. United kicked the crap out of the Whitecaps.

The Rapids play Sporting Kansas City on Wednesday. They are good.

FC Dallas played the nemesis of the Rapids on Saturday night, the San Jose Earthquakes.  Of course they tied.

Houston had a good game until stoppage time.

Yawn.  The Fire and NYCFC played to a 0-0 draw at Yankee Stadium

And the defending champions lost a pretty significant piece of their puzzle in the 1-1 draw with LA Galaxy
