USMNT vs Guatemala: How to Watch, TV Information, Live Stream and More

Friday night was ugly, and that ugliness makes this match a must win for the United States

Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports

It was as ugly as it could have been.  Losing to Guatemala was completely unthinkable and it with that result, qualifying for the 2018 could be in jeopardy.  I know that sounds funny, but a loss could leave the United States in a situation of having to win out and hope for help to qualify for next years Hexagonal.   This is no joke.  The USMNT is in that kind of situation.

The goal for the USMNT:  Win.  End of Story

What to Watch For

1)  Can We Get A Leader: I was very disappointed with USMNT Captain Michael Bradley on Friday night.  He had a terrible game but was completely mute on the pitch letting his players know what needed to happen.  The time has come for Bradley to lead this team.

2)  Tim Howard In Goal: The goals were not the fault of Howard despite how many people want to lambaste the future Colorado Rapids goalie.  His defense was terrible and he was let down on both goals.  My complaint with Howard is that he seemed very quiet (much like Bradley).  But will he start tonight?  Honestly, who knows.

3)  Injury Replacements: Graham Zusi and Christian Pulisic were added for the injured Fabian Johnson and Matt Besler.
