Busy day in soccer land today as two huge matches for the United States

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Friday Colorado Rapids Fans!!  The end of the work week is here (and what a crazy week it was) and we are treated with two pretty big soccer matches today.  We will have our How to Watch segments later, but for now here are a few of the soccer stories we are following today:

Seattle Sounders made a move on Thursday as they announced the signing of Herculez Gomez to a contract.

The United States has not decided who will start in goal, but it appears that Brad Guzan and Tim Howard are still platooning.

Have you voted in Mascot Mania for MLS?  Vote RapidsMan!  Vote Edson!

Not only does the USA have some big matches during the break...so does Canada.

Here are 10 Things with Dillon Serna.  Give it a read.

Guessing the lineup for Mexico v Canada will be interesting.  Not sure that Mexico knows who will play.

Our friends at FMF State of Mind argue that Canada will need to be perfect to beat El Tri.
