The U-23 United States Men's National Team takes the pitch tomorrow at 3:00 PM in the afternoon as they look to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics. They take on Colombia and the task is simple: try and win this series and qualify for the Olympics.
The Goal for the Red, White and Blue: Grab a road result.
What to Watch For
1) The Colorado Connection: There are two Rapids players on the roster and while it is hard to predict whether Dillon Serna and Eric Miller will make an impact, it's a good bet that one of them will be in the Starting XI. I do believe that Serna will be on the wing and will look to bomb forward and get involved. Will it be enough?
2) Cause, Colombia: Make no mistake, Colombia is good. Very good. And it is going to be a hell of an ask for the team to pull out a victory in this match. Let alone any sort of result. The are very good on the ball and have an offense that can cause major problems for the United States.
3) So, what's realistic: Honestly, this is a tough one. The USA has struggled away from home and they kind of blew it when they had the chance to qualify last year. Colombia has better talent and will be playing at home in the first leg. If the United States goes down early, it could be a tough road for the Red, White and Blue.
