Holy Snow Day Batman

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

If you live in the Centennial State Wednesday was an interesting day.  Nearly two feet fell in some places (over 20 inches at my place) and a whole lot of craziness.  I hope everyone stayed safe and were able to enjoy this beautiful day.

Here are a few of the soccer stories we are following today:

Jurgen Klinsmann feels that USMNT striker Bobby Wood needs to target top flight soccer.  He currently plays in Bundesliga 2.

Former Colorado Rapids target Carlos Vela has been in hot water with his home club.  And now he has apologized and wants another chance with his national team.

Clint Dempsey says he misses Marco Pappa.

We love us a cup competition.  And Charlotte Independence have a good one with FC Cincinnati.

Klinsmann has not named a starting keeper for the match on Friday.  My money is on Tim Howard or David Bingham.

Poku has not had a good year in New York.  Here is a piece about that.
