The Colorado Rapids headed East to take on DC United in our Nation's Capital. It's your turn, how did the players do?

The Colorado Rapids played in Washington, D.C., on a cold, wet early spring day against a DC United team. There was a bunch of back-and-forth throughout the game but the Rapids got better as the match went along. Eventually DC United was able to fight back and level the score 1-1 and that is how the match would finish.

I think most of us would have taken a point on the road against DC United, but it was a match where the Rapids should have had three points.

Dillon Powers scored the Rapids lone goal off a beautiful corner from Marco Pappa. Powers got high and to the point first and put the ball home.

DC United was able to equalize when Zac MacMath let a ball go through his hands. As it pin-balled around the 18 it fell to former RSL player Fabian Espindola who was able to get enough on it to get it past MacMatch.
