Happy Monday Colorado Rapids fans! I hope you had a great weekend and are ready for a two week break in matches as the Rapids are off this next weekend. Despite the disappointing result at RFK on Sunday, the Rapids go into the International Break with a 1-1-1 (4 points) record. Last season, after three games, the Rapids were 0-0-3 (3 points) so there is *some* improvement.
Here are the stories we are following today:
Orlando City picked up a pretty big win over New York City FC
The Crew picked up their first point of the year in an ugly 0-0 draw with the Fire.
The match of the weekend was probably in Harrison, NJ.
FC Dallas returned to form with a big win on Saturday night.
Seattle Sounders lost this weekend. But the refereeing was absolute crap.
The old men in Los Angeles won this weekend. Yawn.
The Portland v RSL match was pretty exciting. Seriously.
A pretty big win for the Union in Philadelphia. Well done.
And in a possible MLS Cup preview, Sporting knocked off Toronto at home.
